River House goes above and beyond. It’s a magical place. You can tell that Kelly and Jim thought out every detail and it shows. The house is well-appointed, charmingly decorated, with beautiful outdoor spaces. The house was perfect for four adults and three children. Each couple had their own master bedroom, comfortable king size bed, with lovely bathroom. My daughters shared an adorable room with two twin beds, and my son had his own bedroom with a queen size bed, and a ceiling full of hanging vintage toy airplanes, and nautical decorations. Kids had their own hall bathroom. The living room is lovely and comfortable, filled with little bits and pieces of Florida history, and the kitchen has everything you need to have nice family dinners, cook-outs, etc.

The outdoor spaces are really what make the house stand out from the other airBNBs in the area. We enjoyed morning coffees with the sun streaming in, and gorgeous views of the Loxahatchee River, mellow afternoons with the kids playing on the private beach and swimming in the river, and fun evenings gathered around the fire, or relaxing in the hot tub. The kids loved the Pirate’s Cove, and the many balconies and little alcoves surrounding the house…

This house was amazing! It felt like a private secluded resort with something for everyone! From the hot tub, to the sandy beach, the fire pit, the swim dock and mat, the sailboat turned kids jungle gym, the tree house with hammock, and the tiki hut, we had a really hard leaving at the end of our trip. The whole place is even wired for music, indoor and out!

Kelly and Jim have gone far above and beyond to make this place a paradise. The level of detail in the decor is incredible.

We also had the opportunity to rent the 21’ Boston Whaler that was tied up at the dock. This was what put this whole trip over the top! We took the kids about 5 minutes downriver to the inlet and spent two days at the sandbar! Nothing like anchoring your boat in 2’ of water and exploring mangroves with a 6 and 4 year old. Lots of hermit crabs, pelican, dolphin, plenty of fish, loads of fun

Our family has been blessed to stay in properties all over this country. I must say this one will most certainly be the most memorable in only the best of ways.

It is so amazingly calming there and yet super fun for young and old alike. Awesome location. Exceptionally well thought out. Kelly and Jim have made big fans out of us and we plan to be back time and time again.

The River House is a Gem, home away from home for us.
