Florida is home to a massive sea turtle population vulnerable to climate change, habitat destruction, and other environmental threats. Since the early 1970s, Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) has played a key role in monitoring and protecting sea turtles.

LMC team members document all sea turtle activity along 9.5 miles of beach from March to October. As a result, the Center holds one of the most comprehensive sea turtle datasets in the world. Researchers worldwide use it to keep local sea turtle populations safe.

When you support LMC, you support a nonprofit group dedicated to its cause. It’s the perfect place to learn, explore the natural world, and get in touch with some of Florida’s beautiful wildlife.
