Whether you’re a solo traveler, part of a family, or are looking for a private, secluded getaway, Juno Beach is for you. Its quaint and tranquil atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind for as long as you’d like.

Location and History

Before Juno Beach, there was simply the town of Juno, a small sister settlement to the nearby town of Jupiter, FL. Named after the ancient Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter, the town arose in the late nineteenth century as a transportation terminal linking the north and southern ends of the state.

By the mid-twentieth century, the town began booming with businesses and residential developments.

As a younger town, Juno Beach is quite small – around 3,000-4,000 residents occupy its sandy shores.

Still, the town is teeming with life and is constantly growing to feature new amenities, homes, and cultural staples.

Natural Scenery and Attractions

The water is never too far when you’re in Juno Beach; around a quarter of the town’s total area is covered by it. A trip to the sea is just minutes away, as is a handful of local parks and the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Marinelife Center, a sea turtle research and conservation center, features unique exhibit areas that showcase adorable live sea turtles and other coastal creatures. Nearby is the park’s fishing pier, which grants easy sea access in a safe environment.

The town also accommodates swimming, fishing, jogging, and bicycling on oceanfront paths. In Juno Beach, exploring natural scenery isn’t a luxury – it’s an everyday reality.

Local Community and Culture

The Town of Juno Beach describes itself as a “partnership of residents, businesses, and Town staff” focused on creating a seaside community that works together.

This commitment to community shines through in many of the area’s cultural attractions.

Chief among them is the Seminole Golf Club, a staple that’s been around for almost as long as Juno Beach itself. As one of the best courses in the nation, the club boasts impressive architectural feats and hosts legendary golf events.

Dining and Entertainment

Juno Beach is close to unbeatable activities like tennis courts, go-karts, county parks, shopping centers, and art galleries.

After a long day of fun, families, adults, and kids can recharge in any of the area’s delicious seafood eateries.

From island-style grills to classic, simple seafood restaurants, there’s no shortage of unique options to choose from.

Local cafes and pizza shops add some diversity and extra flavor to the area.
