Blowing Rocks Preserve

Blowing Rocks Preserve is an environmental preserve on Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound. This preserve gets its name from the outcropping of limestone boulders that emerge from the water’s edge. When the waves roll ashore, they crash into these massive boulders and send plumes of saltwater up to 50 feet into the air. Back on land, discover the whimsical trail of the Sea Grape trees that tunnel a footpath to the beach. The preserve is also home to many estuaries, mangroves, leatherback sea turtles, and exotic plants and trees.
